Editorial models are primarily models who are seen in print ads and editorials, Sometimes, people confuse editorial models with commercial models. The easiest way to distinguish between both however is the height of the model. Editorial fashion models are usually tall (most times 5’9′′ minimum) and uniquely attractive. Most editorial models are scouted young at age 16 or 17 years old and enter the market as fresh new faces.

Another difference between a commercial and editorial model is that as a commercial model, you might not build a name, but as an editorial model, you surely will.

Lets say you are 5′ 9″ female or over 6′ male, female age group in can be in between 16-19 and male in between 16-21 in some cases the age can be flexible.   During this time most of the teenagers are focused on their high school and going into college, which makes it even harder form them.
